Last month over at Stashbuilders I got a couple of great little coasters (I'm not showing them because they are being used upstairs) from Sharon. They fascinated me so I went searching on the internet and found a couple of sets of directions. They are super simple to make using 6 squares of fabric. As you can see I have made them in three different sizes. I put fusible fleece in the small ones and in the large hot pad I put some thinsolight (don't know if I spelled it correctly). These are all going as gifts but not saying who as someone might peek!

These cute little things are some little embroidered designs that I saw over on
Flicsha's blog...so I, um, borrowed her idea! I am just beginning to learn to use my Janome so these have been fun to make. The snowmen in the front are in various stages of completion while the others just need to have their hangers put on them...Hopefully I will have some cool idea sometime that someone will borrow from me! (I do have something up my sleeve but can't show it until after Christmas because the recipient may peek here and will know that it will be for them! It is an original design since I couldn't find what I was looking for.)
