Buddha Cat

This is my cat, Sophie, who is the youngest of our three cats. She was adopted about 10 years ago as a stray teenage kitten I found on the state fair grounds when I was going to an antique show. She is quite the character as you can see here! She can hardly make a sound, though she can squeak loudly when she really needs to! Last year she was really sick and we spent a bucket load of money on her...but as you can see she is fine now! I found her sitting like this in the living room the other morning and just had to snap the picture. You notice the towel? With 2 long haired cats we have to keep the furniture covered! She is also 'my' cat, except when it comes to brushing, which DH likes to do. Right now she is curled up in the corner behind my sewing machine (as it is doing some free standing lace snowflakes).  When I come down into my studio and she shows up I have to stop whatever I am doing and give her some quality time otherwise she will figure out exactly where I need to work and park her fuzzy little self right there!!!
