Mail In

The last few days have brought in some fun mail...the picture above is a pillow case from Barb W. It is a prize from the monthly sewing bee at Stashbuilders. She also included the directions, which is great! I've been wanting to make some of these so perhaps now with the pattern on hand I will....but not before Christmas! The cool thing about this pattern is there are no raw seams. I'm excited to see how this goes together.

A blogging buddy and fellow Yahoo groupie, Kate, is showing her daily choice for the Advent calendar that she made. I thought it was really cool so with a little info from her I was able to find the pattern on ebay and it arrived today. Again, not anything I am going to make for this year; just another project to add to my stash!

Oh, I decided to buy a bit more of the fabric from a couple of posts back. I don't want to run short when I do get around to making that quilt! I figure if I have enough I can make some pillows, too! Can hardly wait!
