It's DONE!

I'm participating in the "Another Little Quilt Swap" that is being hosted by Kate in the UK. (see the link at the right). This is the second time this swap has been done and the first time I have participated. This little gem will be sent to someone later this week after I show it to some quilting friends. It is due in the mail by Nov 10 and then I shall be receiving one from someone else! I have been doing so many other things that I had lost some of my precision sewing techniques so this is actually the second I made! Fortunately I had purchased enough material to make at least 2! In reality I think I can make a couple more! The color doesn't show up real well in this picture...but the dotted fabric is yellow...not bright but a warm, light buttery yellow. I hope the receiver likes it!

  2. Wow, this quilt is beautiful. The colors you picked for it play very well together. I'm sure who ever gets it will love it.

  3. Thanks, Gina and Leah...these color choices were definitely out of my comfort zone, but I decided that they did look good together! I've shown this off at work to some fellow quilters and they oooed and ahhhed over it so I felt pretty good!

    Thanks for visiting!

  4. Barb, I LOVE my little quilt. I had posted a comment on ALQS when this quilt was posted that read "I love the green of this quilt It seems to call out to me." Little did I know then it was "calling" it's way to me. Greens are my color. I love the "odd" colors of green in this fabric. It is great. You did a fantastic job. I don't have words for how grateful I am for this little work of art. You're the best.
