More Embroidery!!!

As you can see I've been having more fun with my Janome 11000 embroidery machine. I decided to attempt some digitizing and since I'm making DH a WSU/Cougar quilt I thought some of the insignias would look great embroidered on some of the solid red and gray blocks. Of course, being copyrighted, trying to find these as already created embroidery patterns was impossible, but because this is for my own household use I feel it is fair use to take the logos and digitize them for this project. So, here you see the fruits of my efforts! When I get the quilt completed I will post it.

The last photo is that of 3 lace embroidered snowflakes...done much the same as the wreath in an earlier post today. These will also be embellished with some crystals. I'm currently making some more as they are addictive. They do take a long time to do; about 2 hours for 4 in the hoop. Then there is the time to change bobbins to add in. It takes 2-3 bobbins to do 4 of them.  I think I'm going to have to get out my old Featherweight so I can just do some sewing while the Janome is busy with embroidery work!
