Newest project

Sherry, the creative mind at A Time To Stitch has recently put out a pattern for a Snap Top Purse, that uses spring steel (aka metal measuring tape) for the closure. Of course, the purses have beautiful embroidery designs on them. She has 3 designs at present. Her samples are beautifully done with black quilted fabric and bright florals. Because it is spring I decided I wanted a blue denim one, however one cannot find blue denim prequilted fabric so I made my own quilted fabric. I changed the embroidery colors to match the floral. I'm very pleased with the results, particularly the pockets inside! I had left over quilted fabric so I also made a Snap Happy bag (by Stitchin' Sisters) and put the pocket embroidery design on the front.
