Paper PIecing

Ever since I started quilting a few years ago I have heard of paper piecing but have never tried it until now. Stashbuilders has PP swaps and I finally jumped in! PP blocks are readily available on the web and come in a wide variety of sizes of block, number of pieces that make the block and how complicated the piecing is. For this swap they were to be 6.5 inches with at least 6 pieces per block. I fumbled through the first couple (getting the fabrics with the correct side facing the correct direction on the first couple of pieces was my challenge) but then I was able to complete them with little problem. I can see that this might be a fun way to make blocks! I found this pattern with great directions at Block Central.

And here are mine!:
