Mayhem part 2

OK...have the pieces put together for the second step (first step was cutting the fabric)...unfortunately the directions were confusing and somewhat inaccurate...we were to cut four 3.5xWOF of fabric and then cut them in half to 22 to end up with 10 strips...new math? I still have some cut strips left over so I'm not sure what is going on...Hopefully it will all reveal itself as I go through the steps. (I'm not posting the directions nor the link as the directions are copyrighted and the link will only be up a couple of days...well, ok. I'll post the link but if you are reading this after about January 3rd or 4th it probably won't work...
