I leave for Sewing Expo in just a couple of days and have a couple of new items - for my top and my bottom! It is usually rainy over in Puyallup and this year doesn't look any better so I decided I need a hat. I had purchased several denim baseball hats at Joann's for a buck a piece a while back and decided I needed to spiffy it up for Expo. I found some little sewing designs to embroider and used the smallest hoop and this is the result!
Also, with the rain comes cold and and the chairs in the sessions are chilly and hard, so I've made a well-insolated 'sit-upon'. Two layers of insulbrite are sandwiched between outer layers of fusible fleece and the outer covering. Between the two I should have both my top and bottom well taken care of!
I'm taking my iPad with me so hopefully I will find the time to do a bit of posting!
