up now.
Went to two other great sessions. One from Debra Justice about
needles. Learned some great techniques for wing needles, pin tucking
and double and triple needles. She is quite a character, too!
Also went to one presented by M'Liss Hawley. She had great advice and
showed some great quilts. Interestingly enough - her hubby is a sheriff and also a murder mystery writer. I must see how his books are!
Of course, most of these sessions are essentially sales pitches, but
they also have great ideas. If only there were more hours in the day
or we didn't have to sleep!
Also bought some new scissors at Kai's, some patterns, towels from All
About Blanks (nice quality!), a new iron, and a bit of fabric. Ended
the day at the open house at Pacific Fabrics where I found some more
great fabric I couldn't resist.
Now back at my nephew's for R&R and a good night's sleep to be ready
to hit it once again tomorrow!
Stay tuned!
