More play

I was having trouble getting pictures to upload the other day but things seem to be working ok now so I will add a bit more!

So, what we have here today are things from FiberArtTraders - we do lots of different things as you can see. The top picture is one of my Button Fairies. I found some buttons with faces so used that for the face and created the wings with angelina. I can see these being adapted for little Christmas elves or angels.

The second picture are fairy shoes. With Sophie next to them you can see how small these really are! Another fun little project, mostly done by hand, which would also adapt well to Christmas.

The last picture looks like postcards, but these are my first Artist Trading Cards. These little guys are always 2.5 by 3.5 and can be made out of anything. Since this is a 'fiber' group using fibers is part of the deal, but many times they are made from paper, computer generated art, scrapbooking techniques or whatever. These are for a Goddess  ATC trade; the Goddess can be 'real or imaginary'...if you get my drift! So, I had been playing with some air dry clay and some face molds along with some alcohol inks and Luminere paint. I had some sunflower fabric that I cut out individual flowers and attached to the background and then played with some of the stitches on my new Janome 11000. Lots of fun!

More later about Dotee Dolls!
